A little history
I was born in New Canaan, Connecticut; however, my brother and I spent some time growing up in Panama and Puerto Rico. My family returned to the States after eight years abroad in tropical climates in the middle of winter.
I attended Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Upon graduating I headed west for a warmer climate. I landed a job at the Albuquerque Journal in New Mexico. In addition to enjoying the warm weather, I met my wife, Phyllis, of 10 years (this July).
Eventually we relocated to the Midwest to be closer to family and start one of our own. Our daughter, Shannon, was born Nov. 20, 2005, and our son Matthew arrived September 16, 2007.
